6 months photos is often times my FAVORITE age to photograph! Baby’s are beginning to move, they’re happy, enjoying toys, learning to clap and laugh. It’s such a special age to document.

It took him a few minutes to warm up to me and the camera (totally normal, by the way). But with mom real close and making funny faces and playing peek-a-boo, he started to get comfortable and show his super cute personality!!

Yep. I’m smitten!! His sweet little face and cute smile really did light up the room. And those big eyes!! He was curious and full of personality. I’ll take your pictures any day, River!

Parents often times try to stay out of the pictures. They stand far away and only edge into the frame when needed. But I want to see your hands! I want to see your feet close by. Because in my photos, I want to tell a story. And hands tell the best stories.

I was able to convince mom to get into the frame. With brother, too!
