Boudoir

I want to start by saying that boudoir can mean whatever you want it to mean. It can be whatever you want it to be. YOU can be whatever you want to be.

Bold, beautiful, sexy, confident, sensual. But the biggest thing that sets my work apart from others is that I choose to photography boudoir in a way that I believe is classy, not trashy.

First Off

Before we Begin

I always recommend having your hair and makeup done professionally. This will help your photos stand out, as well as give you that extra confidence boost.
While there are many wonderful hair and makeup artists in the area, most of my clients book with Primp and Blow in Evans, given that it is only 10 minutes from my studio.

Don’t forget your nails! While a fresh acrylic nail isn’t required, I recommend at least clean, manicured nails. Details are a fun part of boudoir photos, and you don’t want your hands to have half chipped polish stealing the spotlight.
Don’t forget your lotion! Have your skin looking moisturized.

Boudoir photos take place at my studio, The Muse Room, unless requested otherwise.

It’s located at 1202 Town Park Ln, Suite 108. It’s on the back side of the building and there is parking directly in front of the studio.

Clothes

I understand how intimidating and vulnerable it can be to take such intimate photos in front of a stranger, so we won’t jump head first, we’ll ease into it.

We start with clothes on. We’ll get headshots and close ups to help you get comfortable (and so you can update your profile pictures!)

There are 3 levels of my boudoir sessions.
1) fully clothed, 2) partially covered, 3) nude.

The levels we cover depend entirely on your comfort level.

I recommend a casual outfit, a sexy outfit (lingerie or jeans and bra), and nude with props.

But boudoir photos don’t have to contain nudity or even lingerie. We can create sensual images with you fully clothed! If that’s your comfort level, then that’s where we’ll stay. Reach out for clothing recommendations so I can custom guide you to create the vision you want.

Props

Props are a great way to add dimension and character to your images. From flowers, to hats, and guitars, people bring in all sorts of stuff they’d like to include in their photos. I have things I can provide as well! Be sure to send me any inspiration photos if you have them and we’ll discuss what we need to provide to create the photos you’re dreaming of.
Breathe, relax, you’re in good hands, I promise! With 7 years of experience photographing boudoir, I’m confident that we’ll be able to create photos that you don’t just like, but that you love!
